I would like to share you simple yet important tips you need to care while doing an electronic project.
- Always use an IC socket instead of soldering IC directly. Because it may damage your IC and also it is possible to replace IC if you are using Sockets.
- Always provide ISP (In-System Programmer) facility in your circuit if you are using a microcontroller. AT89Cxx series has no ISP in it. Instead you can use AT89Sxx series both has the same fuctions. ISP provides you a facility to program your microcontroller without taking it out from your PCB. It uses the Pins MISO, MOSI, SCK, RST, Vcc, GND and also you need to provide the crystal. All you need is a ISP programer which you can get it from here.

- Always check the continuity of your PCB using a Multimeter
- Clean your PCB and Component leads before soldering. It may look ok but there won't be proper contact between component and PCB unless you clean it and solder it.
- Use wire connectors (RMC connectors) for various outputs (like LCD, LED....) and switches that you want to fix on your casing.
